The astounding temples of Angkor are a monumental experience, a sight you must witness at least once in your life. On this short journey you can watch the sun coming up over the majestic temples, near the lesser used eastern gate, to avoid the crowds of tourists. Also off the beaten trail you will uncover the ruins of tree covered Ta Prohm and imposing Bayon, as well as the highlights of Phnom Penh, the capital of Cambodia.

1.  Away from the crowds, creep through the little-used eastern gate of Angkor Wat before dawn, your path lit only by torchlight, and watch the sun rise over this magnificent temple.
2.  At the Cambodia Landmine Museum Relief Facility see thousands of cleared landmines and learn about their work in providing education and support to at-risk youth and landmine-affected children.
